MPRE Information
(Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination)
Students that have been successfully tested over the Model Rules of Professional Conduct via a passing score on the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination are exempt from taking the ethics section of the Legal Internship Examination covering the Oklahoma Rules of Professional Conduct.
- The minimum passing scaled score for Oklahoma is 80 (beginning January 1, 2022)*.
- Select Oklahoma as the jurisdiction to which you want your results directly forwarded (at no charge).
- Keep copies of your score report!
*Prior passing scores will NOT be grandfathered in. The OKBBE will require an 80 or better for Bar Admission. Students who previously passed with a score between 75 and 79 will have to retest.
The MPRE is a two-hour, 60-question multiple-choice examination developed by National Conference of Bar Examiners that is administered three times per year. It is required for admission to the bars of all but two U.S. jurisdictions.
The purpose of the MPRE is to measure an examinee’s knowledge and understanding of established standards related to the professional conduct of lawyers.
