Oklahoma City University School of Law’s J.D. program is an exciting blend of coursework and practical experience. While all J.D. students are required to take core courses, there’s also plenty of room to tailor your law school experience to fuel your passions and explore your interests. With our uniquely supportive law school community, top-notch faculty and wide variety of hands-on experiential learning opportunities, you’ll graduate prepared to practice.

Our program consists of 90 credit hours, which include required courses, an upper-class writing requirement that may include Law Review, Moot Court and Competition Teams or Directed Research, and plenty of other experiential learning opportunities like clinics or externships. Students may focus on a variety of specialties such as American Indian Law, Public Law and Criminal Law with one of our Certificate Programs.
