Thank you for your interest in the Patent Pro Bono Program.

Oklahoma City University School of Law has an agreement with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to help financially under-resourced inventors apply for patents by arranging free patent attorney and/or patent agent time. OCU Law’s program serves solo inventors, nonprofit organizations and small businesses based in Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, or Nebraska.

To begin this application, you will need to complete the following application so that our partners can review your idea. Once your application is accepted, we will contact you to detail the next steps. These next steps typically include a patentability search, signing of a Non-disclosure form, and a request to one of our volunteer attorneys/agents for their assistance.

I understand by beginning this application that I have read all the information on the Patent Pro Bono website and acknowledge that placement with an attorney is not guaranteed. I will be prepared, courteous, and respectful of those involved in the Patent Pro Bono program, including Patent Pro Bono attorneys and agents. Failing to do so will result in expulsion from the program and denial of future services.

Please contact our Patent Pro Bono program at eclinic@okcu.edu if you have any questions.
