Redmond Wortham, 3L

Admissions Ambassador

My name is Redmond Wortham and I’m from Fort Worth, Texas. I received a B.A. in Political Science with minors in History and Communication in 2019 from Texas A&M University. Following my time at A&M, I worked for the Tarrant County Administration office in my hometown for two years before starting my law school journey. I have always wanted to be a judge, and that goal is the purpose behind my law school journey. I chose Oklahoma City University because it values community and is dedicated to their students’ success beyond the classroom.

It is my honor to serve as the Secretary of the Student Bar Association, President of the Black Law Student Association and the President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Group at OCU Law. I also have the privilege of being a member of Texas Legal Society, an Admissions Ambassador at OCU and a student worker at the Law Technology Services Desk. I currently intern at the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office in the Litigation Division. I am lucky to call OCU and the people in it my home and I am always willing to share all the great things about my community. I look forward to joining the Oklahoma legal community in just a few short months!
