Magdalena Willis
Magdalena Willis is originally from New York City and received her undergraduate degree in Justice and Law at American University in Washington, D.C. She came to Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma City University School of Law. During her time as a law student, she was the President of OCU Law’s Intellectual Property Society where she organized numerous events bringing IP professionals to speak to the OCU Law community. She also was an Assistant Resource Editor on OCU’s Law Review where she published two works, “Bills v. Bills: Promoting Equitability in Oklahoma’s Divorce Jurisprudence,” and “This is Not Gucci: Solving Intellectual Property and Counterfeit Problems Facing America’s Fashion Industry.”
As a 3L, she participated in the Collaborative Clinic as a student attorney for two semesters and was invited to return as a Fellow. In addition, Magdalena was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, Holloway Inn of Court, and Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity. Upon graduating, Magdalena received a certificate in Intellectual Property, Sports, and Entertainment Law.
Magdalena is licensed to practice in Oklahoma and looks forward to assisting the clinic’s IP and business formation clients.
