Gentry Kincade was born and raised in Tulsa, OK, and is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. She graduated cum laude from The University of Tulsa with a B.A. in Political Science and a French minor. During her time as a student at TU, Gentry was an associate director and member of the Student Association and served on the executive board of University Ambassadors. Gentry was also a member of and served as the Alumni Relations Chair of the Theta Upsilon Chapter of Delta Delta Delta. Staying close to home, Gentry was able to foster a meaningful relationship with the Oklahoma community and had the opportunity to serve as a summer intern for an United States Senator for the State of Oklahoma.
As an undergraduate, Gentry had the opportunity to study abroad and spent a semester in Paris, France. During her time abroad, she completed Political Science coursework in French in an immersive language program. There, she was able to broaden her global perspective and become skilled in effective verbal and written communication skills. Although she cherishes her time abroad, Gentry’s time in France made her all the more eager to return home to Oklahoma, equipped with new skills and perspectives.
Gentry is looking forward to using her legal education to serve as a resource and advocate for the people of Oklahoma. With interests in health care and public policy, Gentry hopes to gain the legal knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to positively impact access to health care for Oklahomans.
