Gaby Byrnes, 3L

My name is Gaby Byrne and I am from Edmond, Oklahoma. I attended the University of Arkansas and graduated Cum Laude with a B.S.B.A. in Marketing and a minor in Legal Studies. Since I am originally from Edmond, I am happy to be living and going to school in downtown OKC.

This past summer I worked as a Summer Associate for Phillips Murrah and Hartzog Conger Cason. I first became interested in attending Law School after taking Business Law at the U of A, and now I plan to pursue a career in Corporate Law or Wills, Trusts and Estates.  I am a member of OCU Law Review, an Academic Fellow, the Vice President for the Organization and Advancement of Women in Law, the Vice President for Phi Delta Phi – the legal honor society, and an Admissions Ambassador.

I am grateful that OCU offers different opportunities to get involved, gain hands-on experience, and make connections within the school and community. Although law school can create a competitive environment, OCU has always made me feel supported and encouraged by those around me. I can’t wait to share more amazing things with you about my school!
