Andrew Woods, 3L

Admissions Ambassador

My name is Andrew Woods. Due to my father being in the military, I got the opportunity to spend a few years living in Germany. After leaving there, I moved to Texas in which I completed both middle and high school in San Antonio, TX. I soon thereafter moved to Houston and graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a B.A. in English and Minor in Legal Studies. This career path is nothing short of a rigorous, but blissful experience. Nonetheless, the OCU Law community has every tool that you could possibly ask for, ready to be used at your disposal.

During my first year, I served as a Student Bar Association Representative for the John E. Green Black Law Student Association. Now, as a third-year law student, I serve as the Chief of Staff for the Southwest Black Law Student Association and Treasurer for Fighting for Innocence Through Exoneration.  I am a member of the OCU Law Diversity Committee, and am actively involved in Oklahoma City’s Community.  I interned with the OKC Public Defenders my first year and since my second year, I have been a Licensed Legal Intern at the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s office. I truly believe that OCU Law’s faculty, professors, and resources will prepare you for the numerous legal paths that await you! I look forward to meeting you!
