Alexis White

Alexis White is a dedicated professional with a strong foundation in public relations and a passion for advocacy. Originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas, she pursued her education at the University of Oklahoma (OU), graduating with special distinction in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, complemented by minors in Spanish and Portuguese.

During her studies, Alexis deepened her Spanish language skills through immersive experiences in Puebla, Mexico, where she lived with a host family and taught English at a local high school. Her commitment to bilingual communication is underscored by her receipt of the Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy in 2017 and her extensive volunteer work as a translator on church mission trips.

At OU, Alexis served as Vice Chair of the Undergraduate Student Congress, advocating for ADA accessibility and fostering collaboration among student representatives. She actively participated in the Public Relations Student Society of America and contributed to the University of Oklahoma Mock Trial Competition Team, while also being a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Prior to law school, Alexis worked as the Public Information Officer for the District 21 District Attorney’s Office, where she played a crucial role in enhancing community engagement and communication. In this capacity, she liaised with major media outlets, coordinated public outreach efforts, and produced various publications to inform the community about the office’s initiatives.

Alexis aspires to pursue a career in criminal prosecution, motivated by a desire to advocate for victims and survivors in her community. She currently resides in Oklahoma City with her husband, Hunter, who serves as an Assistant District Attorney in Cleveland County. Together, they enjoy traveling, exploring new dining experiences, and supporting the Oklahoma Sooners and Arkansas Razorbacks. As a scholarship recipient, Alexis is committed to using her education to make a positive impact in her community.
