Program Details
We keep admissions criteria simple at Oklahoma City University, welcoming students of all professional backgrounds. When we review your application, we’ll just need to see the following:
• Basic personal information (name, contact information, military status, etc.)
• Official undergraduate transcripts
• Professional resume
• Cover letter (500 words or less)
• 1 letter of recommendation
• Note: There is no GRE or LSAT required for admission to the MLS program

Capstone Experience (3 credits)
Graduate with a professional research project in your portfolio—one that applies directly to your career path. During your capstone experience, you’ll work under direct supervision of a faculty member and an industry partner to complete an integrated research project. And, you’ll get to present your findings at a regional or local conference, leveling-up your leadership and presentation skills in the process.
No Concentration
Students may elect to pursue the Master in Legal Studies degree without an area of concentration. Those students will develop a program plan with the program director. The plan will include the four core courses described above, Business Law, and Negotiations.
As a graduate student, you have more options for degree financing than you may think. Through Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, you can get up to $20,500 per year. And that’s just the start.
