Admissions Basics

Our holistic approach to admissions considers each student’s achievements and personal qualities, as well as your potential for success in OCU Law’s rigorous and collaborative environment.

Wondering where to begin? We’ll guide you each step of the way.

Step 1: Take the LSAT

Applicants must take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and register with the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) Credential Assembly Service (CAS) no later than June of the year you are seeking admission.

Step 2: Request official transcripts

Applicants must request an official transcript from each undergraduate, graduate and professional school attended be sent directly to LSAC.

Step 3: Prepare your personal statement, letters of recommendation and resume

While waiting on your LSAT scores, begin writing your personal statement, request two letters of recommendation and prepare a professional resume.

Step 4: Apply to OCU Law by July 15

Applicants must complete an application for admission through the LSAC by July 15. Contact our admissions department to request an application fee waiver.
