Rilee Sloan

Rilee Sloan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oklahoma City University with a B.A. in History & Political Science. Throughout his academic career, Rilee committed himself to community service through his passion for legislative advocacy. Among other accomplishments, Rilee served as a leader in disability rights for the National Federation of the Blind and the National Association of Blind Students, interned for the ACLU, and co-founded Oklahoma City University’s student organization for environmental justice. During his senior year, Rilee was awarded the titles of Outstanding Senior in History and Outstanding Senior in Political Science.

In law school, Rilee’s advocacy continues to advance Oklahomans’ opportunities for self-determination. In his current externship, Rilee has helped to advance marriage equality in the Oklahoma Supreme Court and the Choctaw Constitutional Court. At OCU Law, Rilee is active on campus as President of the Cannabis Legal Society, uniting students, scholars, and attorneys who share his vision to expand access to safe plant medicines. After law school, Rilee is excited to continue his vibrant advocacy in his home state of Oklahoma.
