Bio:
Michael T. Gibson clerked for Chief Judge Warren Urbom of the U.S. District Court before joining the OCU faculty in 1984. He was also named a Nebraska Admiral, the state’s highest honorary title bestowed by the governor.

OCU’s students have named Prof. Gibson “Professor of the Year” six times, as well as “the Professor Most Likely to Live in His Office.” In Contracts, he uses his own textbook, which explicitly teaches students the reading, thinking, studying, and professionalism skills they need to succeed. He also helped create the law school’s Academic Success and Bar Exam Preparation programs.
