Jackson Mayberry

Jackson Mayberry graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oklahoma State University with degrees in Agricultural Communications with honors and Agribusiness with a minor in Agricultural Real Estate Appraisal in 2019. During his time at OSU, Jackson served as co-editor for the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources magazine, the Cowboy Journal. He assisted fellow students as a writing tutor and interned with the OSU Family Resource Center, which primarily serves students living in on-campus family and graduate student housing. Jackson also contributed as a member of the Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow Club and the Navigators, a campus ministry.

Jackson began as a Public Information Officer in the Media & Public Relations office at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation soon after graduating. Here he interfaced with the media, transmitting timely and accurate information relating to travel safety and ongoing projects. Additionally, he worked directly with the public to answer questions and address concerns about Oklahoma’s transportation system.

Jackson’s time at OSU and ODOT grew and reinforced his desire to advocate for the members of his community using skills in the law and communications.

Jackson and his wife, Cara, live in Oklahoma City where they enjoy playing board games with friends, riding bikes, and exploring the neat places, scenery and coffee shops.
