Jackson Mayberry

Jackson Mayberry graduated summa cum laude from Oklahoma State University with degrees in Agricultural Communications with honors and Agribusiness with a minor in Agricultural Real Estate Appraisal in 2019. After graduating from OSU, Jackson began as a Public Information Officer in the Media & Public Relations office at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

During his first year of law school, Jackson was listed on the Dean’s List and earned several CALI Awards of Excellence. He also served on the Law School Student Advisory Board. After his first year, he volunteered at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Oklahoma.

In his second year, Jackson competed on a team representing OCU in the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy competition. He continued to serve on the Student Advisory Board and was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Club. He remained on the Dean’s List and was awarded multiple CALI Awards. During the summer after his second year, Jackson interned with Resolution Legal Group and the Capital Habeas Unit of the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Oklahoma City.

Jackson and his wife, Cara, live in Oklahoma City where they enjoy playing board games with friends, going on walks, and exploring neat places, scenery, and coffee shops.
