Hanna Hart, 2L

Admissions Ambassador

My name is Hanna Hart, and I graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a concentration in Criminology. Before beginning law school, I worked as the Registration Support Specialist for the Center of Professional Education and earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. My academic and professional experiences have been guided by a passion for advocating for victims and serving our communities.

I chose Oklahoma City University School of Law for its abundant opportunities to gain real-world experience alongside attorneys who make a positive impact in Oklahoma and beyond. During my first year, I served as a Student Bar Association representative for Phi Alpha Delta and as a member of the Student Federal Bar Association. As a rising second-year law student, I now serve as Vice Justice of Phi Alpha Delta.

During law school, I have gained valuable experience interning with the Public Defender’s Office on the felony docket, as well as working with Latitude Legal Alliance, an immigration nonprofit. This fall, I am starting a new internship with Leonard & Associates, focusing on employment discrimination matters. These diverse experiences have sharpened my advocacy skills, broadened my legal perspective, and deepened my courtroom exposure, preparing me to become a well-rounded attorney.

I hope law school inspires you to use your education and passions to make a meaningful difference. Good Luck!
