Hanna Hart, 3L

I am Hanna Hart, a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a concentration in Criminology. Prior to law school, I earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. My passion for advocating for clients and serving communities has guided my academic and professional journey.

I chose Oklahoma City University School of Law because of its opportunities to gain practical experience with influential attorneys. Law school has fostered a strong sense of community through organizations like the Student Federal Bar Association and the Immigration Legal Society, where I currently serve as President. These experiences have connected me with fellow students, facilitated knowledge sharing, and deepened my involvement in the legal community.

My work experiences and internships with the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office, Latitude Legal Alliance, the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals, and the Federal Public Defender’s Office have provided me with valuable practical experience. This fall, I will begin an internship with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority, which will further enhance my understanding of federal, state, and administrative law.

These experiences have honed my advocacy skills, broadened my legal perspective, and deepened my exposure to the practice of law. They have prepared me to become a well-rounded attorney while reinforcing my commitment to serving others.
