Crystal Caruana

Crystal Caruana graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minors in Philosophy and Pre‑Law. She was the recipient of numerous academic honors, including the T. Rowe Price Fellowship, the Marion Sondermann Scholarship, inclusion in the Bastiat Honors Program, and the CU Chancellor’s Award.

During her undergraduate studies, Crystal gained substantial legal experience as a Legal Intern at The Law Office of Jeremy Loew in Colorado Springs. In this role, she assisted attorneys with trial preparation, organized case files, conducted legal research, drafted and filed court documents, and compiled evidence for presentations. She collaborated closely with the legal team to support case management and contributed to the development of defense strategies in active criminal cases.

Crystal also served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado, supporting courses in American Politics, Political Theory, Constitutional Law, and Special Problems in Political Science. She facilitated lectures, led tutoring sessions, evaluated assignments, and provided individualized academic support to help students navigate complex political and legal concepts.

Her academic achievements and professional experiences reflect a strong commitment to public service, legal advocacy, and excellence in the study of law. Crystal is preparing to pursue a career in criminal defense and public interest law.
