Bio:

Professor Mugg joined the Oklahoma City University School of Law (“OCU”) faculty as Visiting Professor of Law in the fall of 2023. She taught as an Adjunct Professor at OCU for eight years prior to joining the full-time faculty.

Professor Mugg has been a private practice attorney since 1998, with a primary focus on complex estate planning and planned charitable giving. She is a member of the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council, Oklahoma Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, and she is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®.

Professor Mugg is currently Of Counsel with Ball Morse Lowe PLLC. She was founding partner of Mugg Winston from June 2005 to October 2022. She previously worked as an associate attorney with McAfee & Taft from 2000 to 2005, and with Hartzog, Conger & Cason from 1998 to 2000. She received a J.D. from OCU in 1998, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the OCU Law Review, a Hatton W. Sumners Scholar, the Oklahoma Bar Association Outstanding OCU Law School Student, and graduated first in her class. Professor Mugg received an MBA from the University of Oklahoma (“OU”) in 1994 and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1990 from OU with a BA in Letters. While attending OU, Professor Mugg was named Outstanding Senior Woman and selected for membership in PE-ET, Phi Beta Kappa, and Beta Gamma Sigma.
