Hannah Coker

Hannah Coker

Hannah Coker graduated in 2018 from the University of Oklahoma (OU) with a B.A. in Journalism and a Minor in International Studies. While at OU, she was involved in Lindsey + Asp and in her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. Her favorite role so far has been in her involvement throughout high school and college in the Brandon Magalassi Scholarship Foundation, which is an organization in the Tulsa area devoted to educating high school students and the community on suicide prevention. She studied abroad for two of her undergraduate summers. One summer was spent in Italy and the other in Erfurt, Germany.

Following graduation in 2018, Hannah spent one year working as a legal assistant at Cathy Christensen & Associates, a family law firm in North Oklahoma City.  This experience further prompted her to pursue a career in the legal field. Hannah’s drive to attend law school stems from a strong desire to make an impact on any community in which she is placed.

During law school, she has been listed on both the Dean’s List and Faculty Honor Roll. In her first year, she received the CALI Awards for Contracts I and Civil Procedure I. In her second year she became a distinguished member of the Oklahoma City University Law Review, a role in which she continues to serve. Following graduation and the bar exam she will begin her legal career at McAfee & Taft, where she has interned the last two summers.
