Hannah Coker graduated in 2018 from the University of Oklahoma (OU) with a B.A. in Journalism and a Minor in International Studies. While at OU, she was involved in Lindsey + Asp, the College of Journalism’s student-run advertising and public relations agency. She also served as Public Relations Chairman for her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, during her junior year and was involved in many of its philanthropy events. Her favorite so far role has been in her involvement throughout high school and college in the Brandon Magalassi Scholarship Foundation, which is an organization in the Tulsa area devoted to educating high school students and the community on suicide prevention.
She studied abroad for two of her undergraduate summers. One summer was spent in Italy studying Italian art and culture, and the other was spent in Erfurt, Germany, studying media psychology and international public relations. Following graduation in 2018, Hannah spent one year working as a legal assistant at Cathy Christensen & Associates, a family law firm in North Oklahoma City. This experience further prompted her to pursue a career in the legal field.
Hannah’s drive to attend law school stems from a strong desire to make an impact on any community in which she is placed. She intends to sharpen her strengths through education and practice to advocate for others and better understand the world around her.
