Cassity Reed

Cassity Reed was raised on a family farm near Carmen, Oklahoma and now lives in Edmond with her four children. In 2005, as an Oklahoma Regents Scholar, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Marketing degree. Cassity began her marketing career as a property manager for First Pacific Investments of Norman and later became the marketing director for Farmers Exchange Bank, overseeing all branches.

Cassity’s motivation for a law career stems from her years as a foster care provider and mentor family with Angels Foster Family Network. Her passion for rehabilitation and her intrinsic predisposition for advocacy fuels her commitment to families affected by child abuse and neglect. In 2018 she was selected for the Interdisciplinary Training Program on Child Abuse and Neglect at the OU Child Study Center.

While in law school, Cassity clerked for the Oklahoma County’s District Attorney’s downtown and juvenile divisions. She has earned seven CALI awards for outstanding academic performance and will publish an article on the Violence Against Women Act in the fall of 2019. She currently works at Mazaheri Law where she plans to practice in family law.
