I grew up and lived on a ranch in Guthrie, Oklahoma, spending my summers caring for cattle with my family. I went to Oklahoma State University where I earned a degree in Business Management, with a minor in Human Resources and Sports Management. I decided to come to OCU Law because of many factors, one of which was being close to family. The biggest factor was the people I met and interacted with when I visited and toured. The atmosphere, the people, and the reputation gave me this feeling that OCU Law was better than anywhere else I was looking. After the things I had learned and the people I had met, I have never been happier about my decision to go to law school and OCU Law being the school for me. Here at OCU, I am involved with being the past 1L class vice president, the current 2L class vice president, and the current Student Bar Association’s vice president. Through these roles, I have exposed myself to so many networking opportunities and friendships that I know will last throughout my legal career. I am also involved in the Federal Bar Association, the Federalist Society, and Merit Scholars. I knew law school would be challenging and hard but the faculty, staff and students that make OCU Law what it is, makes the journey of law school that much better. I am working for an investments and real estate planning firm in Edmond, OK and applying to be a Legally Licensed Intern. I plan on taking the bar here in Oklahoma in July of 2020.
