Jonna Vanderslice Malone graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma (OU) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Psychology and Health and Exercise Science in 2018. In 2019, she graduated from OU again with a Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education. While at OU, Jonna was recognized as the 2017 Outstanding Senior Woman, selected as one of the top ten students in her graduating class, and was a recipient of the Distinguished Undergraduate Research Award. Jonna was a member of the university’s ambassador program, the President’s Leadership Class, the President’s Honor Roll, Phi Beta Kappa, and Phi Kappa Phi.
Outside the classroom, Jonna held leadership positions in various campus activities. She was the Campus Activities Council Vice Chair; New Member Educator for her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma; and Student Advisor for the President’s Leadership Class. Jonna enjoyed many community activities including serving as a softball coach for a local high school, coaching a youth basketball team, and tutoring students in math at an elementary school. Jonna’s desire to attend law school stems from the hope to combine her passions for collegiate student development, education, and sport to more effectively serve her community.
