The conference will focus upon two intense areas of reform currently being discussed on a national level. 

The morning panelists will be led by moderator Andrea Miller, Oklahoma Innocence Project, Oklahoma City University School of Law. They will discuss Conviction Integrity Units in Oklahoma. 

Our Keynote Speaker is Brendan Cox,  Director of Policing Strategies of  Lead National Support Bureau. 

Mr. Cox is a retired former Chief of Police who assists cities across the United States in creating, managing, and operating law enforcement-assisted diversion programs in their local hometowns. 

The second half of the conference is a two-part panel presentation. 

The first panel discussion is entitled “It’s Time to LEAD: Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion” and will be moderated by Tina Brown, Criminal Justice Reform Program Officer. 

The second panel discussion will actively engage the perspectives and opinions of local law enforcement officers and is titled “Taking Action and Moving the Discussion Forward- the Law Enforcement Perspective” and will be moderated by Tim Tardibono, Executive Director of the Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Advisory Council.
