Bio:

Timothy Gatton began working at the Law Library in August 2011 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Information Sciences. He is the Associate Director for Research & Instruction and Law Library Professor. In addition to teaching Law Practice Technology, he also teaches (when time allows) Texas Legal Research for Practice, Oklahoma Legal Research for Practice, Advanced Legal Research: U.S. Law, and Advanced Legal Research: Foreign, Comparative, and International Law. Timothy also guest lectures upon request in other courses in the law school, such as in Legal Research & Writing.

Timothy graduated cum laude from Cornell College in 1986 with majors in History, Spanish, and Politics. After a 21 year break, he attended the Oklahoma City University School of Law, graduating in 2010, before attending the University of Pittsburgh for his M.L.I.S. degree.

His interests include cooking and baking, legislative history research, and literally anything and everything involving Mexico.
