Law Technology Services

The Law Technology Services Department (LTS) provides assistance to students, faculty and staff who are using computers and audiovisual equipment. We maintain the Law School’s desktop and laptop computers, printers, and servers. We also provide students with assistance in configuring and maintaining their laptop computers.

Our classrooms all have permanently installed audiovisual equipment which is maintained by LTS staff.  Portable audiovisual equipment is available as needed for all other rooms and classrooms.

Computer Labs

Three computer labs are available for the exclusive use by the School of Law: two labs are located in the Gold Star Memorial Building (law library), rooms 186 and 197, and one lb is located in the Sarkeys Law Center. Only OCU law students and law faculty may use the computer labs. The labs open when the law buildings open; however, the labs close approximately fifteen minutes before the law buildings close. Feel free to ask one of our lab monitors for help the first time you log on. A variety of word and data processing programs as well as legal educational resources are loaded on the computers for student use.

Lab #1 is our largest lab and is located at the far northwest corner of the first floor of the Gold Star Memorial Building (Law Library). This is also where you will find the Lab Monitors and IT Specialist, should you have any questions.

Lab #2 is our training lab and is located at the far north end of the first floor of the Gold Star Law Memorial Building (Law Library). This is most likely where you will receive your Lexis Nexis and Westlaw training.

Lab #3 is adjacent to the student lounge in the Sarkeys Law Center.
