Native American Heritage Week

November 6 - November 10

NALSA is celebrating Native American Heritage Week with a week full of events! The law school is invited to come learn a traditional, Native American art of basket weaving and beadwork, enjoy Indian Taco Tuesday, and hear our guest speaker!

Native American Heritage Week will run from Monday, November 6th through Thursday, November 9th. On Monday, NALSA will be hosting a basket weaving class in Room 505 at 12pm. All students and faculty interested are encouraged to attend. On Tuesday, NALSA will be selling Indian Tacos in the 1st floor during lunch time from 11:30am-1:30 pm and during dinner time from 5:30-7pm. On Wednesday, NALSA is hosting a beadwork class in Room 505 at 12pm. Come learn how to make beaded earrings! On Thursday, NALSA will end the week with the last meeting of the semester with guest speaker, Steve Hager-tribal judge and attorney for Oklahoma Indian Legal Services.
