Director of Marketing & Communications
Brook Arbeitman joined Oklahoma City University School of Law in July 2011 as Director of Marketing and Communications.
In her role as Director of Marketing and Communications, Arbeitman is responsible for internal and external communications activities for the law school. Working closely with senior administrators, she manages media relations, serve as liaison for various stakeholders, and showcases student, faculty, and alumni achievements.
Arbeitman has received several awards for her work while at Oklahoma City University School of Law. She won a Gold Addy Award for the LAW Magazine (Women of Influence) at the 2014 Oklahoma City American Advertising Awards (ADDY). The same issue of LAW also received a Silver Addy in the District 10 competition, which includes Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. She has also won several other ADDY Awards for her work on various collateral pieces for the law school.
She came to the law school from the Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security (OKOHS), where she served for more than seven years as Public Affairs Coordinator. While at OKOHS, Arbeitman served as public information officer, assisted in the development of the Red Dirt Ready campaign, served as the Citizen Corps Program Manager and helped implement community preparedness initiatives across the state.
Prior to her work at OKOHS, Arbeitman was a reporter and anchor for television stations in Wichita Falls, Texas; Springfield, Mo., and Augusta, Ga.
