Jennifer Prilliman

Associate Director and Law Library Professor

Education: B.A. University of Central Oklahoma;  J.D. University of Oklahoma; M.L.I.S. University of Oklahoma.

Background: Jennifer Prilliman joined  Oklahoma City University in August 2010.  Her research interests include legal information literacy and instruction, copyright law, open access, and ethics.

Jennifer Prilliman completed the Master of Library and Information Studies program at the University of Oklahoma.   While in graduate school she was as an officer for the library student association, served on the School of Library and Information Studies’ curriculum committee, and was selected to present a paper at the Oklahoma Library Association annual conference.  She was a recipient of the Frances Laverne Carroll Scholarship. Prior to entering the M.L.I.S. program she taught advanced placement and college preparatory courses at a college preparatory charter school in Oklahoma City.

While in law school she was a member of the Jessup moot court team, topic editor for the Oklahoma Journal of Law and Technology, and member of the Board of Advocates. She was the recipient of the Natalie Pierrepont Comfort Scholarship. Jennifer is the Co-chair for the Oklahoma Bar Association Law Day committee and a member of the Bar Technology and Access to Justice committees.  She serves as the Public Relations Chair for the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries. She is also a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, American Bar Association, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg Inns of Court. She was selected to participate in the Oklahoma Bar Association’s 2013-2014 Leadership Academy.
