Resource Editor: Teresa Green


IMG_3129Teresa Green is a third-year law student and serves as the Resource Editor of the Oklahoma City University Law Review.  She is a member of the William J. Holloway American Inn of Court for the 2015-2016 term and is serving as a Judicial Extern for The Honorable Robert E. Bacharach in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit during the Fall term. She has also served as the Vice President and Treasurer of Parents Attending Law School (P.A.L.S.) in 2014-2015 and 2013-2014 respectively, Secretary of Merit Scholars in 2014-2015, and 1L Class President in 2013-2014. Teresa is a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society, Phi Alpha Delta, and Merit Scholars.

In addition to pursuing her law degree, Teresa graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting in May 2013 and from Rose State College with her Associates in Applied Science in Paralegal Studies in May 2008.

Teresa has worked as a Summer Associate for Hall, Estill, Hardwick, Gable, Golden & Nelson, P.C. and Devon Energy Corporation during Summer 2015. She also worked as a Legal Intern for Terrell Monks during Summer 2014. Before going back to school at OU, she worked as a paralegal for CompSource Oklahoma and McCaffrey & Associates, P.L.L.C.

Outside of the legal profession, Teresa has served as a Board Member for the Sustainable Eastern Oklahoma County, Mid Del Orchestra Booster Club, and Mid Del Farmer’s Market, where she also was a founding member. Her other community involvement includes being an adult leader for the Boy Scouts of America and helping build homes with Habitat for Humanity.

As a graduate of the Empower Program and client of Suited for Success, she recently was honored with Suited for Success’s Client Achievement Award recognizing her personal and academic accomplishments after surviving domestic abuse. Through Empower, Teresa has served as a mentor to women entering the workforce after similar circumstances.

In her personal life, she enjoys organic gardening, hiking, and exploring.
