Articles Editor: Stephanie N. Black
Stephanie Black is a third-year law student from Texas and serves as the Articles Editor for the Oklahoma City University Law Review. In 2012, she graduated cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Supply Chain Management and a minor in Communication. At OU, she was actively involved in several student organizations, including the American Indian Student Association where she served on the Executive Board as President, University Affairs Chair, and Social Affairs Chair. She also served as the Assistant to the Director of the Integrated Business Core Program at the Price College of Business, an officer in Delta Sigma Pi Professional Fraternity, and a member of Delta Gamma Fraternity. Stephanie won first-runner-up in the Bruzzy Westheimer speech competition on corporate ethics and was named in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities in 2012.
Stephanie is a Merit Scholar at Oklahoma City University School of Law and has made the Dean’s List. She has assisted the General Counsel at the Oklahoma Ethics Commission with campaign finance law since June 2014. After graduation and licensure in 2016, Stephanie plans to stay in Oklahoma and practice law.
Stephanie is a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation, a PLSI alumna (Class of 2012), and a Big Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization of Oklahoma. She enjoys spending time with family, running, and volunteering in the community
