Education: B.A, M.L.I.S, and J.D. University of Oklahoma (semesters at Åarhus University, Denmark and Universiteit Utrecht, The Netherlands)
Background: Professor Peoples’ research and scholarship is focused on comparative law and on the impact of technology on legal research, the judiciary, and the law. He has published articles, books, and book chapters on these topics. He is co-founding editor of the Legal Information and Technology eJournal on SSRN. He teaches advanced legal research classes and is a frequent lecturer in law school classes. Professor Peoples is active in professional organizations including the American Association of Law Libraries and Association of American Law Schools. He is past president of the Mid-American Association of Law Libraries.
He served as the Director of International Programs for the School of Law from 2007-2010. In that position he developed the innovative Certificate in American Law Program. Prior to his appointment as Law Library Director in 2010 he served as Associate Director, Associate Director for Faculty and Research Services, and Head of Reference Services. Before joining the faculty Professor Peoples practiced law in Oklahoma City. He is admitted to practice in the State of Oklahoma, Western District of Oklahoma, and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Background: Kathleen (Katie) Brown’s research and scholarship is focused in the area of intellectual property, acting skills for lawyers, law and literature, management and a variety of legal research related topics. She teaches advanced legal research courses, is a frequent guest lecturer in the law school classroom and Adjunct Faculty for the Meinder School of Business, Master of Science in Energy Legal Studies program. In 2009, Ms. Brown had the opportunity to attending both the AALL Management Institute and the AALL Leadership Academy. Two years later, she became an elected member of the AALL Executive Board and received the Emerging Leader Award.
JENNIFER PRILLIMAN

Background: Jennifer Prilliman’s research interests include legal information literacy and instruction, copyright law, open access, and ethics. Prior to entering the M.L.I.S. program she taught advanced placement and college preparatory courses at a college preparatory charter school in Oklahoma City. While in law school she was a member of the Jessup moot court team, topic editor for the Oklahoma Journal of Law and Technology, member of the Board of Advocates, and received the Dean’s Award for Advocacy. She is an active member in the Oklahoma Bar Association serving on the Law Day and the Bar Technology committees. She is also a member of the Ginsburg Inn of Courts, American Bar Association, and the American Association of Law Libraries.

Background: Tim is a 2010 graduate of Oklahoma City University Law and completed his M.L.I.S. degree at the University of Pittsburgh in August 2011. While a student at Oklahoma City University, Tim was actively involved in many student organizations, wrote a cooking column for the student newspaper, and worked as a reference assistant at the law library during his last three semesters of law school. Tim worked as a reference intern at the University of Pittsburgh Barco Law Library while completing his studies at Pitt.

Experience: Jenny began her library career working with the Interlibrary Loan Department at the University of Oklahoma. Jenny is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, the American Library Association, and the Reference and User Services Association. Jennifer is the Layout Editor for MAALL Markings, the publication of the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries.

Education: Bachelors of Journalism and Mass Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations from the University of Oklahoma; M.L.I.S. University of Oklahoma.
Experience: Natalie started her career in the Interlibrary Loan department at the University of Oklahoma. Natalie is a member of the American Library Association, Association of College and Research Libraries, Mid-America Association of Law Libraries, and the Oklahoma Library Association, where she serves as a member of the Ethics Committee.

Responsibility: Nancy’s area of responsibility is managing the Technical Services Department which includes acquiring and paying for all library materials, cataloging new materials for the web catalog, monthly binding of periodical issues, and processing library material received in the daily mail which includes paid subscriptions and free items from the U.S. government. She is also involved in collection development and collection maintenance.
Experience: Before coming to Oklahoma City University in 1980, Nancy worked at the University of Texas Law Library and at the University of Oklahoma Law Library in the Technical Services Department.

Responsibilities: Her major duties are setup and administration of the Voyager online library system and cataloging and classifying library materials. She maintains the accuracy of the bibliographic records and authority files in Voyager. She creates Access reports from the Endeavor Voyager library system database as requested and assists staff and patrons in the use of the catalog and cataloging tools. She also assists the staff with questions on and training for the Voyager system.
Prior to coming to Oklahoma City University in 1996, among other positions, she worked at two law firms classifying and cataloging discovery materials.
