How do you measure the value of a law library?

A new article from the National Jurist, “What makes a great law library today?” (you will be asked to login using your email address), briefly covers the evolution of law school libraries and services from collection-centered to service-centered.

The Oklahoma City University Law library collection contains 280,000 volumes and subscribes to 498 law reviews and journals, but service is the primary focus of the librarians. The law library offers an Award of Accomplishment in Legal Research Skills, 24 hour access, practice exams, a 2-credit course in Advanced Legal Research, reference service, and much more. For more information about library services, visit the Law Student Library Guide or contact a librarian.
